Fort Walla Walla Museum's Living History troupe presents Josephine Wolfe, a favorite turn-of-the-century madam, to tell all about her business in Walla Walla starting in 1859. "Dutch Jo," played by Diane Somerville, had arrived from Germany and her business was highly successful in that it lasted until her death in 1909. Described as charming and capable, she also had a reputation as a ruthless businesswoman, but one with a wide philanthropic streak.
